Jacob Zamansky Quoted in New York Post – Hedge funds face a crisis of confidence
Hedge funds are facing a crisis due to low return figures, increased investor withdrawals, and closures which signal potential litigation and warnings from financial advisors to “get out.” Hedge funds are very good at marketing, however investors stand to lose their entire investment. Jake Zamansky told the Post that he is “seeing some patterns.” His firm all too often sees “hedge fund advisors misrepresenting the performance of funds, becoming reckless to try and seek alpha or beat the market, doing things outside the investment guidelines. In baseball terms, many hedge fund managers are swinging for the fences and striking out.”
