Zamansky LLC Investigates The Babson Capital Global Short Duration High Yield Fund (BGH)

January 21, 2016 Investigations

We are investigating sales of the Babson Capital Global Short Duration High Yield Fund (NYSE: BGH), a closed end short duration high yield bond fund for potential securities law suitability violations. Since 2009, many investors, particularly retirees or those seeking income, have invested in short duration high yield bond funds.   These high yield funds were sold as secure, high quality income-generating investments that had modest risk.

Since July 2014, BGH has declined substantially from $24 per share to $15 per share, a loss of 38%.   This short duration high yield fund may have had too much risk for investors who sought safe and secure income returns, and losses of this size were likely unexpected.   This fund may have been unsuitable for certain investors.

If you are an investor in Babson Capital Global Short Duration High Yield Fund (BGH) and wish to have your investment reviewed, you may, without obligation or cost to you, email jake@zamansky.com or call the law firm at (212) 742-1414.
