Zamansky LLC Investigates the Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN For Possible Sales Practice Violations

March 21, 2016 Investigations

We are investigating the Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN, an exchange-traded note tied to master limited partnerships that hold energy and shipping assets, for possible sales practice violations.

These Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN notes can be high risk and speculative investments.  No investor should have invested in the Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN notes if they had conservative or even moderate investment objectives.  No retiree or other conservative investor who needed to protect their principal or earn income should have invested in the Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN notes.

We are examining sales of these Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN notes for FINRA Rule sales practice violations.  These notes collapsed in value with the steep drop in oil prices, and many investors could not afford to bear the risk of such large losses.

If you suffered a loss from Morgan Stanley Cushing MLP High Income ETN notes or any other notes linked to oil, gas, energy or commodities indexes, you may have the legal right to bring a claim for unsuitability, fraud or sales practice violations.  You can contact Jake Zamansky by telephone at (212) 742-1414 or by email at jake@zamansky.com.
