Zamansky LLC Investigates Former UBS Financial Advisor Paul Koch of Wayzata, MN
FINRA arbitration attorney Jake Zamansky and his team are investigating potential legal claims on behalf of investors who were customers of former UBS Financial Services Inc.’s (“UBS”) financial advisor. Paul Ronald Koch, of Wayzata, Minnesota. According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Koch has been barred from association with any securities broker-dealer. He is also reportedly under investigation by the U.S. Secret Service for financial misconduct.
Why We’re Investigating
FINRA barred Koch for allegedly diverting funds of a former NFL player into risky investments in small companies owned by his wife. Much of the money was then allegedly diverted improperly from the companies for the couple’s benefit. The companies receiving the funds were reportedly High Point Place, Fermented Feed Group, Chamire Holdings., CMR Partners, JKB Holdings, MPX 360, My-T-Sharp Holdings, VRE III, Warren Mill and Perrymanco.
Zamansky LLC is investigating potential claims by Mr. Koch’s victims against UBS for failure to supervise and respondeat superior (which, in simple terms, means that UBS should be held responsible for the acts of their agents/advisors). FINRA Rule 3110 requires broker-dealers like UBS to have reasonable supervisory systems and procedures to prevent this type of fraud by its financial advisors. Anyone who was a client of Mr. Koch at UBS who had funds diverted to any of his private companies may have a legal claim to recover their losses through FINRA arbitration.
