Zamansky Investigates The LaeRoc Funds And Sales Of The Funds By Independent Financial Advisors
Zamansky LLC is investigating the LaeRoc Funds and sales of the funds by independent financial advisors. The LaeRoc 2002 Income Fund and the LaeRoc 2005-2006 Income Fund were a group of real estate private investments which owned income- producing properties, primarily in southern California. The LaeRoc Funds were sold by independent financial advisors such as Linsco Private Ledger (LPL), Commonwealth Financial Network, LaSalle St. Securities and others.
The investigation concerns whether the LaeRoc Funds were sold through misleading sales practices. The LaeRoc Funds were sold to many conservative income-seeking investors who wanted safe returns as low risk investments. In truth, the LaeRoc Funds were speculative and risky investments that lacked liquidity and were leveraged – the opposite of conservative and low risk. For retirees or other investors seeking safe income, the LaeRoc Funds were entirely unsuitable and investors taking a loss may have the legal right to recover the losses on a claim of unsuitability.
If you are an investor in the LaeRoc Funds and feel you were misled or the investment was unsuitable for you, please contact Jake Zamansky at 212 742-1414, or jake@zamansky.com.
