Justin Sauerwald joined Zamansky LLC in 2014. He focuses his practice on securities and ERISA class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Justin also represents individuals and groups of investors in securities arbitrations against brokerage firms in cases of investment advisor misconduct, fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, unsuitable recommendations, failure to disclose conflicts of interest and other violations of state and federal securities laws and regulations.
Justin is a 2005 graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2011 graduating magna cum laude with a concentration in International Legal Practice.
While in law school Justin gained valuable experience during his Business Practice Clinic semester working at Akerman Senterfitt, LLP in West Palm Beach, Florida, interning for the Honorable Patti Englander Henning of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, and studying European Union law during a semester abroad at at Universitá degli Studi Roma Tre in Rome, Italy. Justin also served as a Teaching Assistant for Torts and Federal Civil Procedure, served on the Senior Staff of Nova Law Review and on the Executive Board of Phi Alpha Delta, and was on the Dean’s List all semesters.
Mr. Sauerwald is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, and before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
