Zamansky LLC Investigates the Shut-down of the Oppenheimer Commodities Strategy Total Return Fund
We are investigating the Oppenheimer Commodities Strategy Total Return Fund (the “Fund”) (QRAAX, QRANX, QRACX, QRABS, QRAYX and QRAIX) over the recent shut-down of this two-decade-old fund. The Fund has suffered losses of approximately 27% in 2015, and 22% in 2014, and has seen its assets fall from $250 million to below $100 million.
This was a speculative, high risk fund that was not appropriate for all but the most aggressive risk-seeking investors. This Fund was not an appropriate hedge or alternative for moderate investors seeking returns that were not correlated with the stock market.
Any investor who has suffered a loss in this Fund should contact us to have their situation reviewed for potential unsuitability and excess risk, as we may be able to help recover losses suffered in the Fund.
